" Le Grand Pere" - French for Grandfather...Head of the family, worldly and elegant, with great taste and a love for life.
Seductively dark purple in color, this wine boasts intense aromas of ripe plums, strawberry, truffles, blackberries and black currants.
On the palate it is both concentrated and velvety with strong blackberry, hints of cedar and a soft lingering finish.
The complexity and elegance of this wine pairs well with classic french cuisine such as sauteed lamb with garlic and thyme, braised beef, roast leg of lamb and fine french sauces.
